What is Academic Bowl?
It is a competition in which two teams with a maximum of four players each are asked a series of questions. The teams are read a tossup question, and the team that buzzes in first and answers correctly receives a bonus set of questions, not necessarily of the same topic. Points are allotted for correct answers, and the team with the most points at the end of the game wins. There are four major formats for Academic Bowl, each with slight variations.

Interested?
The TU Academic Bowl Team practices twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:00pm in Chapman Hall room #255. There are no membership fees. Transportation to tournaments is up to members, but registration fees, meals, and hotel fees (if necessary) are covered by the Student Association.
