Greek life holds many opportunities for young women. All of the Greek houses offer a variety of leadership positions to help prepare yourself for your future. Greeks also hold a multitude of leadership positions in many different organizations on campus. In 2007-08 every Tri Delta at the University of Tulsa was involved in another organization on campus. The Greek experience is a lifelong commitment, and Greek alumni associations are all across the country and the opportunities are endless for career connections.
Scholarship is important to every house on sorority row as many houses require study hours and offer tutoring if needed. Tri Delta puts scholarship on the forefront of their member’s minds as coursework takes precedent over most nightly events. The All Sorority GPA is traditionally higher than the all campus and all women averages. In Fall 2007 the All Sorority Average was 3.304 while the All Undergrad Average was 2.953.
Community service is very important to Greeks on campus. Houses not only hold a philanthropy week for their designated cause, but many Greeks also participate in other events for good causes. All of the Greek organizations participate in other Greek philanthropy weeks as well as organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Relay for Life.
Today only 2% of the U.S. population is Greek, but those who are Greek are collectively a very successful group. Over 85% of the student leaders on some 730 campuses are involved in the Greek community.
- All but eight U.S. Presidents have been fraternity men since 1825 when the first social fraternity was founded.

- Today, 76% of all U.S. Congressmen and Senators are Greek.
- Of the nations 50 largest corporations, 43 are led by fraternity men and sorority women.
- Greeks raise over $7 million for charity every year.
- A U.S. Government study shows that over 70% of all those who join a fraternity/ sorority graduate, while under 50% of all non-fraternity/sorority persons graduate. Students who join Greek organizations are more likely to return to school the following year.
- Nearly 1,000,000 hours are annually volunteered by Greeks across the country.
- Approximately 85% of the top executives of Fortune 500 companies belong to a fraternity or sorority.
