Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment

Welcome!

On behalf of the National Panhellenic Council and The University of Tulsa Panhellenic (PHC), we welcome you to TU!  We hope you are excited to begin your journey through college life, and we encourage you to make Greek life a part of that experience.  Joining a sorority offers you a chance to build lifelong friendships, take on leadership roles within an organizations, contribute to your community through philanthropic events and establish connections that will benefit you for many years to come.  The University of Tulsa is proud to offer six NPC sororities, each with its own unique characteristics.  Please take this opportunity to look through our recruitment book and see what some of Greek life entails.

We encourage you to participate in our recruitment process and find out why so many incredible women of the past have chosen to make a Greek organization such an important part of their lives.  We look forward to seeing you on campus in the fall!

Sincerely,
Tricia Kaiser
Panhellenic President

Overview

PHC has a Formal Recruitment during the weekend following the first week of classes.  Formal Recruitment lasts from Friday evening through Sunday evening.  Formal Recruitment is in many ways a formal process, involving a series of "interview-lie" events over the three days.  It is a mutual selection process, meaning that both you and the Greek chapters to which you are applying both have some say and control over the process.  Potential New Members (PNMs), i.e., the women going though Formal Recruitment, are expected to participate in all recruitment events, including meetings during Orientation week and the first week of classes and all parties/events Friday through Sunday.
