What We Do
The History Mentoring Service is a program run by the History Department and designed to provide writing assistance to history majors who are currently enrolled in or have already taken HIST 3903: Thinking and Writing as a Historian. Its director is available to read drafts of history papers, offer suggestions on how to improve structure, presentation, and logic, or simply to answer questions and offer feedback about projects in whatever stage they may be. Our ultimate goal is to provide majors with a friendly and helpful resource when it comes to writing a history paper.
