The LanBrew mod team is a student organization at the University of Tulsa. It was created in the fall of 2005 by a group of students interested in game development and began recruiting other students on campus with similar interests. Each year the active team members brainstorm a game project to work on and choose development tasks and skills they are interested in learning more about. In addition to the chosen project, the mod team also hosts multiple on campus LAN parties each semester where students can play PC and console games and donate money to the Child’s Play charity.
