The NASC competition is being rescheduled likely in November.

Announcing the 2021 Native American STEM Competition and Teacher Conference at The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both the Student Competition and Teacher Conference will take place concurrently.

Student Competition - Free!

School teams of five students/team will compete against other school teams in various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities. Awards will be given to the winning teams in each division.

Requirements:

        • Middle or High school students can attend
        • All students must stay safe and have fun at the event
        • All teams must design a POSTER for the event
        • 4 of the 5 team members must identify as Native students

 

Registration for the competition is online beginning September 15, 2021. Teachers must register their teams.

Teacher Conference - Free!

While the students are competing, the teachers will be participating in a STEM-focused conference.

Requirements:

  • Only teacher/educator/sponsors of the teams may participate in the conference.
  • Teachers must arrange a presentation of the day's event to their school and invite Dr. Brown to attend
  • Only teachers/sponsors can register their teams (4 of 5 students must identify as Native students)
