The SENSE-sational science workshops are Free!!
Funding for the Academies comes from a "No Child Left
Behind Grant" sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher
Education.
Tasting water to detect
salinity and the Oklahoma Aquarium
Teachers must be currently teaching either 4th or 5th
grade students in either the Tulsa Public School system or the Jenks
school system.
All teachers will return to their schools with lesson
plans for integrating science into their classrooms along with many hours of
valuable hands-on science experiences.
