Artwork showing

Although it is not what we are best known for, the Department of Special Collections and University Archives is responsible for much of the artwork that The University of Tulsa owns, and all that is in the McFarlin Library.

We are gradually digitizing them and putting them on our Flickr pages and the university catalog, although in a small, low res version so that they don’t risk copyright infringement. You can see these on the catalog under the subject heading “Special Collections–Art Work” and on the Flickr page in the set “Artwork.”

This week, the Office of the President selected several of these pieces to go out on display during the upcoming dedication of the Lorton Performing Arts building, and we’ve been busy getting those ready.
