City of Broken Arrow records

Continuing our history of trying to help out local communities, the Department of Special Collections has volunteered to assist the city of Broken Arrow with a digitization project, preserving century-old city records. This is not the first time that we have made these efforts for a local community, for example see “City, University of Tulsa team up to save city records,” Jenks Journal, 25 June 2009. This will be a gradual project, sliding the materials into our current workflow procedures over the next few months. If the city is happy with the work we are doing on these initial volumes, we will proceed onto later volumes.

Although we are not charging the city for this service, we will be adding a digital copy of the records to our collections.
