The University of Tulsa chapter of
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
SWE is a nationally active, not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE members are engineers and scientists dedicated to empowering women to succeed and advance in traditionally male fields. They believe that women should be recognized for their contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders. The National SWE website has more information about the many faces of SWE around the country. More About Us >>
How to Join
Just come to our meetings, or show up at events! You don't have to be a woman or an engineer (but one or the other helps).
To become a national member of SWE, ask one of our officers for an application. As a member, you are eligible to attend both the regional and national conferences and earn SWE scholarships for women.
For Information about the upcoming Regional SWE Conference, click here.
SWE relies on a network of volunteers to accomplish its goals. If you would like to donate time or money to SWE, you have any questions about SWE's volunteer activities, or are interested in co-sponsoring events with SWE, please email email@example.com.
SWE is always looking for new ways to get involved! We help out with many programs centered around teenage and elementary girls, as well as those in college, and we're always looking for new opportunities to give back. If you know of any interesting opportunities for SWE involvement, please email us at one of the addresses on the contact page.
