Rachel Micol (presently at the Boston VA on internship) recently accepted a postdoctoral fellowship at the Boston VA for next year! It is a one-year clinical postdoctoral position for the PTSD track at the VA Boston Healthcare System. The position allows for advanced training in the integration of various approaches to PTSD treatment and to the treatment of other trauma-related and comorbid disorders. Clinical training is split between two VA Boston clinical programs affiliated with the VA National Center for PTSD: the PTSD Clinical Team (PCT) and the Women’s Stress Disorder Treatment Team (WSDTT), which allows for provision of clinical services in a population diverse on all sociodemographic characteristics. In addition to provision of direct clinical care, the fellowship offers unique training opportunities related to administration, supervision, and consultation. Further, fellows have the opportunity to engage in research through the VA National Center for PTSD Behavioral Science Division (BSD) and/or Women’s Health Sciences Division (WHSD).
All of us here in TRAPT are incredibly proud of Rachel!
