University Boarding and Skating Club
Mission Statement
(1) To create a gathering point for University of Tulsa students who share interests in skating, boarding, or other unique forms of transportation or recreation.
(2) To provide a friendly atmosphere on campus where students interested in skating culture can come to learn what gives the sport its distinctiveness.
(3) To bring together a group of students to preserve our right to skate on campus, preventing fines which have been established at other universities.
(4) To increase the knowledge of our members in regards to riding safely on campus and using proper safety gear.
(5) To organize trips to local skating-friendly areas, so that our members can skate in a safe, positive atmosphere.
(6) To assist in the planning of trips to non-local skating areas, such as surfing or snowboarding areas, if any of the members are interested in planning a trip.
