What is CWI?

The Coalition for Women's Issues exists as an open group on the TU campus for both the discussion of women's issues and the promotion of women's health and well-being through community service, open dialogue and educational opportunities as an educating and open-minded coalition of aware, diverse and interested members of the TU community. We've raised $200 for Tulsa Project Women, co-sponsored Rock the Vote, showed films to explore of the history and importance of women's suffrage, and co-sponsored several events to raise awareness about campus sexual assault. We will sponsor several events in March for Women's Heritage Month, in conjunction with the Women's Studies Department and other organizations interested in women's issues.
