What is TU RESULTS?
TU RESULTS is a non-profit student organization united to fight hunger and poverty through political initiative. Our group is largely based upon the national RESULTS organization.  Activities that TU RESULTS have participated in recently include: hosting a White House call in day on AIDS and TB, requesting more money for health care workers and the Global Fund. We also have video screenings on micro-credit and teach people how they can become involved with micro-credit and RESULTS.
 
TU RESULTS is a powerful tool that other campus organizations can use in order lobby for their political needs. We teach students how to become actively involved in their government (by showing them how to write letters to their representatives and newspaper editors, give persuasive talks on issues they are passionate about, and personally call their representatives or the press). Currently we are raising money to co-sponsor our own village micro-credit bank.
