Lecture: The Guerrilla Girls

Wednesday, March 9, 2005; 7:00 pm

Great Hall, AC/AC

The Guerrilla Girls is a feminist activist group that calls itself the conscience of the art world. Over the last twenty years the Guerrilla Girls have monitored museums, galleries, art critics and collectors and drawn attention to the discrimination of women and minority artists. Although their work is based on hard facts, they present them with a sense of humor that encourages dialogue.

This lecture will be open to the public, and free of charge. For more information contact the School of Art at 631-2739.
