Description

This is a hard bond book containing the disciplinary records of No. 6 Platoon/B Cop. of the Princess Victoria Royal Irish Fusiliers. The entries are handwritten, using red and black ink. Each entry records an offence committed, the name of the offender, the punishment and the name of the officer who awarded the punishment. Each serviceman has their own page in the book. Offences range from drunkenness to desertion and punishments vary widely. The cover is covered in a cloth material in a tan color and has No. 6 Platoon/B Cop. written with black ink. Inside the front cover P. H. D. Dempsey is written in red ink. The pages of the book are lined, and each page is hand numbered in red ink. A typed note has been added at the beginning book containing information on the battalion and its commanding officers.
