Team Competition
The competition is comprised of secondary student teams competing in one of three categories:
- All Girls teams (middle or high)
- All Boys teams (middle or high)
- Co-ed teams (mixed ages/gender)
Each team consists of five students.
Each team should be comprised of a at least FOUR (4) Native American students.
Teams must have a teacher/educator sponsor. Teachers can sponsor more than one team.
There is no charge for the event - it is fully funded by Oklahoma EPSCoR, the National Science Foundation and The University of Tulsa.
Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided.
The students will be supervised by instructors, graduate and undergraduate students throughout the events.
During the day, teams will be competing in a variety of challenges. Some may include:
- Scavenger Hunts
- Physics challenge
- Science Olympiad
- Engineering Activities
