The Jack H. and Tybie Davis Satin Rare Book Room

Satin Rare Book Room

The Jack H. and Tybie Davis Satin Rare Book Room is our reading room where academics have come from all over the world to use our materials. The room was originally built in 1967 as part of the east wing and was intended to house the entire department. We soon outgrew that room, and have continued to expand ever since.
